One Dead and Two Injured in Sunday Morning Wreck

Authorities are reporting that one person is dead and two others were injured after an early morning crash on Sunday. At around 4 a.m., Louisville Metro Police said a car swerved off the road at 28th Street and Broadway striking a tree.
The passenger in the front seat, Chaz Edwards, 25, was killed. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and a backseat passenger were taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police have not stated what may have caused the wreck, but that alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
We use our blog as a forum to educate the public using real life events. However, we are very sensitive to the fact that these real life events have resulted in a tragedy that will inflict great pain and sorrow on those involved and those close to the victim(s). As such, we understand that they may not approve, and we will immediately remove a post if a victim or their loved ones makes that request.
