41 Car Accident Pileup On I-75 In Kenton County, Kentucky Results In Injuries But Zero Deaths
A chain-reaction wreck in the southbound lanes of I-75 in Kenton County, Kentucky resulted in the closure of the interstate highway for several hours and at least six injuries, but did not result in any fatalities. Snow and ice conditions contributed to causing the accident. One witness said that visibility was down to 100 feet. At least 20 of the vehicles were disabled and had to be hauled away from the scene and a mass transit bus was called in to transport those involved left without transportation.
Although the conditions were apparently poor, that does not mean driver error did not play a role. Drivers can also be considered a contributing factor when driving too fast for the conditions. If you lose control of your vehicle and it slides into another one, or even worse, someone else, you were probably going to fast for the conditions.
