Muldraugh, Kentucky (Meade County) Car And Truck Accident Claims One Life And Injures Two
35 year-old David D. Pandy III of Vine Grove, Kentucky was killed when the 1996 Honda Civic he was driving crossed over the centerline of Dixie Highway and struck a 2005 Honda Accord driven by Vonda Carnegie. Then, the Accord struck a Dodge pickup truck driven by Karen Vuturo and the Civic crossed back into its original lane and struck a 2000 Ford Focus. Ms. Vuturo and Ms. Carnegie were both injured.
The crash is under investigation and a cause has yet to be determined. The factors that should be explored include not only driver error, but distracted driving, drunk driving, obstructed vision, faulty mechanics, defects in manufacturing, crashworthiness and careless repair or maintenance, to name a few. Hopefully, the investigating agency performs a full and complete investigation and provides answers to the victims of this accident and/or their loved ones. Let's also hope that the responsible party(ies) have adequate insurance policies in place or other assets to cover their liability.
