Lexington, Kentucky (Fayette County) Car Accident Results In Death Of Pedestrian
22 year old Casey Hedgecock was struck as a pedestrian and died from his injuries. The accident happened around 8:00 p.m. and the vehicle, identified as a black sedan, left the scene. Someone has since contacted police through an attorney to discuss the accident. Mr. Hedgecock was a resident of the Hope Center, which is close by the scene.
Hopefully the friends and family of Mr. Hedgecock will get answers as to how and why this tragedy occurred and why the driver of the vehicle involved left the scene of the accident. It appears that driver error is to blame, but investigators must keep an open mind as to other potential causes.
