Another Pourable Fuel Gel Recalled

Our firm previously posted here about the dangers posed by pourable fuel gels and the recalls that were underway. The fuel gel poses a serious risk of flash fires in which it can ignite unexpectedly when poured into an already burning fire. The gel can splatter onto people and objects close by causing serious burns. These flash fires are difficult to put out with water and stop, drop and roll is not effective.

Earlier this month the U.S.Consumer Product Safety Commission announced another recall of a fire gel called PatioGlo produced by Marhsall Group. If you currently are using this product you are instructed to stop using it and return it to the manufacturer.
