Alcohol Prep Wipe Recall
We've previously posted here, here, here and here about recalls of alcohol wipes and pads for bacterial infections that can lead to death. Now, a second manufacturer, Professional Disposables International Inc. (PDI), has issued a recall. PDI shares a common supplier, Tudor Converted Products Inc., with Triad Group and H&P Industries, which are the subject of the prior recall.
Bacillus cereus bacteria was detected in PDI's alcohol prep pads. Exposure to the bacteria can lead to infection and cause death.
