Drunk Driver Hits Jogger Near Cherokee Park

Louisville authorities are reporting that a jogger was struck by a car on Cherokee Road at Alta. Louisville Metro Police say Katherine Schrewsbury was driving west on Cherokee when she struck the jogger, pinning her beneath the car. The victim was transported to University Hospital. Schrewsbury was charged with agravatted DUI, wanton endangerment and driving without insurance.

Since the drunk driver was cited for not having proof of insurance it will be important that the victim looks for other potential sources of recovery. An experienced personal injury attorney will be able to review the case and determine whether or not there are other insurance policies or potential defendants that could be liable.
