Clinton County Wreck Injures Two
Police are reporting that a wreck in Clinton County on August 3 injured two mean. The wreck happened around 9:30 p.m. on KY738. A 2000 Mitsubishi operated by Inis Smith, age 33, of Albany, was traveling westbound on KY738, when it lost control and traveled into the eastbound lane, hitting a 1995 Ford tanker truck driven by Joseph Staton, age 28, also of Albany. Both Smith and Staton were reportedly wearing their seatbelts at the time of the wreck and Smith was transported to the Clinton County Hospital by Clinton County EMS for injuries.
An investigation is ongoing to determine why Smith lost control of his car and crossed the center line.
