6 Fatalities Occurred in Kentucky Over the July 4th Weekend

Kentucky State Police are reporting that six people died on Kentucky roadways this weekend. Four people were killed in automobile wrecks and two motorcycle wrecks resulted in deaths. The wrecks happened in Calloway, Daviess, Oldham, Pike, and Spencer counties. The number of fatalities is unchanged from 2010 when six deaths were reported on the July 4th weekend.

Year-to-date traffic fatalies are 328, which is 35 less than at the same point last year. Thankfully, Kentucky's traffic fatalities have generally been declining over the last five years. For more information visit the Kentucky State Police website: http://www.kentuckystatepolice.org/tip.htm
