Louisville, Kentucky Car Accident On Greenbelt Highway Results In Injuries And Death

An unidentified woman in her 50s lost her life while driving her Chevrolet Cobalt northbound on Greenbelt Highway. A man driving a Ford Taurus in the opposite direction apparently failed to yield the right of way when attempting to make a left turn in front of the Cobalt. The two men in the Taurus suffered injuries that required a trip to the hospital emergency room.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Louisville Metro Police Department. While it appears this is a simple case of driver error, a full investigation should include a look at all aspects of the wreck to determine the cause or causes. The friends and family of the deceased woman deserve no less and should get answers. Let's also hope that the responsible parties have sufficient insurance coverage or other assets to cover the losses and harms they have caused.
