T.C. Drake Seriously Injured In Motorcycle Wreck
T.C. Drake of Bardstown, former tight end for the UK football team, was seriously injured in a wreck around 9:00 p.m. on Sunday. He was riding a motorcycle on US 62 in Nelson County when 35 year-old Jennifer Reed made a left-hand turn into Drake's lane, causing him to strike her passenger door and be ejected from his motorcycle.
Drake was airlifted to U of L Hospital, where he is currently listed in serious condition with head injuries.
Reed has been charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and first degree assault. We will keep you updated as we learn more. Our hearts go out to Mr. Drake and his family and we wish him a rapid recovery.
