Continental Recalls Tires

After a January 2011 fatal car accident, Continental Tires is recalling around 390,000 tires. Most of these tires can be found on 2008 and 2009 Ford F-250s and F-350 trucks.

The recall is a result of potential problems when a truck is overloaded or the tire is underinflated. When one of these recalled tires is subject to these conditions, it may experience uneven wear, vibration, and seperation between the belt edges.

Continental maintains tires meet all federal safety standards, but fail their own performance standards.

If you have these tires on your vehicle, contact Continental's Customer Service at (888) 799-2168 .
