Alabama Crash Kills Four Indiana Teens

Four Angola High School students were tragically killed Saturday afternoon when the vehicle they were in was involved in a crash with two other vehicles just north of Montgomery, Alabama. Police are reporting that the teenagers were coming home from a spring break trip when a minivan, traveling south on Interstate 65, crossed the median and crashed head-on into the students' car. The students' car was struck again by a SUV. The driver of the minivan was also killed.

The students have been identified as Alexx Bauer, Riley Zimmer, Matt Rowe and Evan Weaver.

Having grown up and attended high school in a small town in Indiana much like Angola, I know what the community is going through. We lost two of our students in a car wreck years ago and no one has ever forgotten. Tragedies like this affect everyone. My prayers are with the friends and loved ones of these four students. - Vanessa Cantley
