IKEA Recalls Glass Mugs

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, in cooperation with IKEA, a popular provider of office furnishings, has announced a voluntary recall of its RUND clear glass mugs
It is advised that consumers should cease using the product immediately. According to the company approximately 13,000 units - inclduing an additional 115,000 sold outside the U.S. - have been sold. The issue with the mugs is that the inner walls of the double-walled glasses can break during use, posing a laceration hazard to consumers.

IKEA has advised that anyone in possession of the mugs should immediately stop using the RUND mugs and bring them back to any IKEA store for a full refund.
