Too Fast For The Conditions

The Louisville, Kentucky area got its first significant snowfall and wintery precipitation over the past few day. Along with that came car and truck wrecks. The Louisville Metro Police Department reported over 50 accidents due to the slick driving conditions.

A lot of these car and truck crashes are still due to driver error and avoidable. One of the factors that police look at when determining who is at fault for an accident is whether a driver was going too fast for the conditions. A driver can be traveling below the stated speed limit, but still be held legally responsible if he or she was driving too fast for the road conditions at the time.
