Bullitt County, Kentucky Crash Claims Life
Brooklyn Hartman of Bardstown, Kentucky died as a result of injuries she sustained in a head-on collision on Ky. 245 near Clermont, Kentucky in Bullitt County. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The Kentucky State Police (KSP), who are investigating the wreck, said that a van driven by Mary Cloyd, also of Bardstown, left the roadway, struck a guardrail, re-entered the roadway and crossed over the centerline striking the vehicle driven by Ms. Hartman. Ms. Cloyd was also seriously injured.
Our sympathies and condolences go out to the friends and family of Ms. Hartman as they deal with grieving process for this unparalleled loss. We also wish and hope for the quick and speedy recovery of the Ms. Cloyd.
The KSP say the reason the van left the roadway is unknown at this time. Although the police are conducting an investigation to determine the cause, and they typically good job, it is often important for someone involved in this type of accident, or a surviving family member or friend, to do their own investigation.
