Bath County, Kentucky Accident on KY 826 Results in 3 Injuries

There was a single car accident in Bath County, Kentucky on KY 826 that injured three occupants of the vehicle, according to Kentucky State Police in Morehead, Kentucky.

Reportedly, Kyle King was traveling west on KY 826 approaching the intersection of KY 826 and US 60 when his auto went through the intersection and into a ditch. There were four people in the vehicle, and three of them were injured in the wreck.

The injured were identified by police only by last name. The driver, Mr. King and a male occupant named Crawford were taken by EMS to the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. A female passenger named Bashford was reportedly taken to Saint Claire Medical Center where she was treated and released. Another female passenger refused treatment at the scene.

The driver was cited for several traffic violations. Police are saying that none of the four occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision.
