BCCJ Attorney Brian D. Cook Speaks at the Healing Place
Bahe Cook Cantley & Nefzger PLC attorney, Brian D. Cook, spent a couple of hours this past week talking and answering questions at the Healing Place, a local shelter and recovery facility for homeless, addicted, and battered women in Louisville. As a part of a panel of attorneys speaking on a variety of topics from bankruptcy, to family law, to other topics, Brian spoke and answered questions specifically about criminal law and the criminal system as a whole in Jefferson County and around Kentucky. It was a wonderful experience that Brian intends to repeat in the future with other groups. Brian says that “the ability to help, only if just a little, women who would otherwise not have access to attorneys and an understanding of the legal system, was a great experience. I really hope that I have the opportunity to do this again.”
