Trucking Accident Attorney: Ralph Coy Killed & Victoria Fowler Injured By Semi Truck
Last Wednesday morning a semi tractor trailer truck failed to stop and killed a Lawrenceburg man and injured a woman. Ralph Coy was stopped at an intersection when the tractor trailer failed to stop and struck the rear of Coy’s 2002 Chevy Impala. The impact of the accident killed Coy and pushed both vehicles into the intersection where the 2005 Chevy Malibu, driven by Victoria Fowler, was struck. Fowler was taken by helicopter to Kentucky Chandler Hospital, where she is listed in fair condition.
Personal Injury & Wrongful Death Attorney Brent T. Ackerson stated: “This is clearly a case of fault against the truck’s driver and employer. Coy’s family has a case for a wrongful death claim and Fowler has a case for a personal injury claim” Coy’s family will be able to make a claim for the Coy’s death through his Estate and Fowler can make a claim for her injuries, medical bills, lost wages, and pain & suffering. But for the trucks actions, these two families would not have had their lives turned upside down.
