Honda Recall Update: Honda to Recall Civic, Accord, and Element due to Ignition Defect

Honda is recalling 384,000 vehicles due to an ignition defect that would permit the key to be removed while the vehicle is not in park. Removing the key when the vehicle is not in park could allow the vehicle to roll and could cause an accident.

The recall, announced by the government, affects some 2003 Civics, Accords, and Elements, as well as some 2004 Elements, the Boston Herald reports. Honda said it will contact affected consumers.

If you or someone you know has been injured as a result of a defective Honda you should consider discussing your case with a products liability attorney. To consult with Shawn Cantley about these issues: Shawn's Mail
