Burgin Woman Killed in Hayride Accident
Terri Hurley, of Burgin, Kentucky died over the holiday weekend after being struck by a tractor in a hayride accident on a Mercer County farm.
The Lexington Herald-Leader reports that Hurley was on a hayride when the tractor slid down a hill. As thr trailer jack-knifed Hurley was thrown from the vehicle and then struck by the tractor's wheel.
She was taken to James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg, where she died from head and chest injuries.
