Woman Killed In Car Crash Identified As Tabatha Topping

The woman killed in a head on auto accident Wednesday has been identified as 33 year old Tabatha Topping, of Crestwood, KY. The head on collision, between Ms. Topping’s car and a Jeep Liberty, occurred Wednesday afternoon around 3:15 p.m. The accident was the result of a man in his 20s, driving the Jeep, swerved into the northbound lane of Taylorsville Lake Road. It is still unknown why the Jeep lost control and crossed lanes. Ms. Toppings was taken to UL Hospital where she was died.

This is a case where the Topping family will likely be able to file a wrongful death suit against the driver of the Jeep to recovery the costs of the medical bills and the life time earnings that Tabitha would have earned. Anytime there is a loss of life, at the fault of another, the family of the victim is entitled to recover damages. This money is not only needed to cover the family’s financial losses, but also sought in cases to punish the at fault party. Justice demands such at a minimum.
