Semi-Truck Accident on I-64 in Scott County, KY Kills Trucker
A Salem, Indiana trucker who was hauling dry concrete died Friday morning in a wreck with another tractor-trailer on I-64 in Scott County, Kentucky.
According to authorities, 37 year old Brian Keith Meyers was wearing a seat belt when he collided with a tractor-trailer parked in the emergency lane at approximately 6:00 in the morning near Exit 69. The coroner said that Mr. Meyers died of blunt force trauma.
There was no word whether the parked truck was occupied or properly marked, or whether anyone else was injured.
