Police Investigate Accident In Lincoln County, Ky, Which Killed Two People

Kentucky State Police are investigating an auto accident which resulted in the deaths of two people. The accident occurred in Lincoln County, Kentucky, Monday around 5:35 p.m. It has been reported that an eastbound red 2001 Ford, driven by Stevie Bolden, age 18, entered a curve on Ky 78 and lost control. The 2001 Ford then struck a westbound 1998 Chevrolet on its passenger side. Lenora Parker, age 17, a passenger in the 2001 Ford, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Driver of the 1998 Chevrolet, Shelly Sears, age 38, was airlifted to University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Ky, and later died of her injuries. Bolden, who was also airlifted to University of Kentucky Medical Center, is listed in critical condition.

Both of the families of Parker and Sears will likely have wrongful death legal actions to pursue against Bolden and/or the owner of the 2001 Ford Bolden was driving.
