Kentucky Woman Sues Toyota: Sudden Acceleration Caused Son's Death

The Louisville Courier Journal is reporting that a Louisville woman has filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against Toyota, claiming that a sudden acceleration event in a 2000 Camry led to a wreck last year that killed her teenage son.

In particular, Tina Stuckey alleges that on April 27, 2009, a Toyota Camry driven by a high school friend of her son "suddenly and unexpectedly accelerated, causing the driver to lose control, strike a wall, then a large tree."

Her son was killed in the wreck.

Bahe Cook Cantley & Nefzger attorneys are actively litigating cases against Toyota involving the sudden acceleration problem and Toyota's efforts to hide the problem.
