Brent T. Ackerson, Partner, Secures Money In City Budget For Down Syndrome Of Louisville

On June 24, 2010, the Louisville Metro Council passed the 2011 City Budget with amendments by a vote of 24 to 1. Brent T. Ackerson, Metro Councilman for the City’s 26th District and a Partner in Bahe Cook Cantley & Jones PLC, voted for the Budget and was able to secure over $400,000.00 for the construction of the Louisville Down Syndrome’s new Life Long Learning Center. This new center will be the first of its kind in America and will provide aid, counseling, and assistance, to individuals with down syndrome form birth through adulthood.
