Two Women Killed In Crash On I-64 In Northern Kentucky

Debbie Samples, 45, of Lexington, Kentucky was killed today when a car driven by 27 year-old Tessa Harris of Ashland crossed the center line and hit the vehicle Samples was riding in head on. The driver of Samples' car, her husband, 45 year-old James Samples, was seriously injured and rushed to University of Kentucky Hospital. There is no word on his condition at this time.

Vanessa Cantley, attorney and partner with Bahe Cook Cantley & Nefzger, comments: "This is a tragedy for both the Samples and Harris families. It will be important to investigate this wreck immediately to determine why Ms. Harris, who was traveling on westbound I-64, crossed into the eastbound lanes. The Samples family will need answers about what exactly happened and why to determine who may be legally liable for Ms. Samples' death and the injuries to her husband."
