Two Women Killed In Car Crash on I-64
On Saturday, April 24, 2010, Tessa Harris, age 27, of Ashland, Kentucky, lost control of her car and caused an automobile accident that killed one person and sent another to the hospital. Harris was traveling westbound on I-64 in Bath County when she reportedly lost control of her vehicle and crossed into eastbound traffic. Harris’ vehicle struck a car traveling in the eastbound lane, driven by James Samples. Debbie Samples, James’ wife, was a passenger in his car. The accident resulted in the deaths of both Harris and Debbie Samples. James Samples was taken to University of Kentucky Hospital with severe injuries.
