Vanessa Cantley, Interviewed By Media Regarding Her Professional Opinions Related To Toyota Recalls.
On Friday, Wave Television 3, in Louisville, KY interviewed Bahe Cook Cantley & Jones partner Vanessa Cantley, about the Toyota Recalls. Cantley expressed concern for Toyota recall model owners and the need to get their cars checked out even if a problem does not seem to exist at this time with their car. Cantley pointed to the fact that under KY law, owners of the recalled models are now on notice that there may be a problem with their cars. If the owners do not take all available steps to insure that their vehicles are safe, and a subsequent accident occurs, those owners could be partially liable fro the resulting accident. Cantley further pointed out that under KY law, an owner who sells a car that has been recalled, without having that vehicle inspected for a problem, could be liable in a later accident.
