Taylorsville, Kentucky Wheelchair User Killed Crossing Street
A Taylorsville, Kentucky woman was killed on Wednesday as she was struck by a propane tanker truck as she was crossing the street in her motorized wheelchair.
Bahe Cook Cantley & Jones attorney Larry Jones says, "It is unclear from news reports why the truck driver didn't see her, but drivers owe a duty to keep a careful watch for pedestrians crossing the street. Just because this woman was in a wheelchair doesn't mean she is owed any less protection."
