Single Car Accident in Bowling Green, Kentucky Kills Passenger
There was a tragic car accident in Bowling Green (Warren County) Kentucky that took the life of Damon Hunt, who was a passenger in the vehicle that crashed.
KSP in Bowling Green are reporting that David Cruz was driving his vehicle in the middle of three southbound lanes when he fell asleep at the wheel, leaving the road and colliding with a tree.
Reportedly, the vehicle sustained severe damage to the passenger side. Tragically, Damon Hunt, who was riding in the front passenger seat, was killed in the wreck. Mr. Cruz was not hurt.

"From a legal perspective, it appears as if Damon Hunt's family likely has a wrongful death claim against Mr. Cruz. There are defenses, but generally when a person falls asleep at the wheel it's negligence. The main issue here will probably be finding additional sources of insurance coverage. From a personal perspective, this is obviously a terrible tragedy, an my heart goes out to the family."
