I get a lot of questions about the Mirapex class action lawsuit from folks wondering if they have a case that can be included. As I explain to everyone who asks this, technically, it isn't a class action. All cases from across the country, no matter where they have been filed, have been consolidated into one place: the federal court District of Minnesota in a Multidistrict Litigation (MDL) action because they are all of a similar type and have common facts relevant to all of them. Thus, if they are all grouped together, they can be handled more efficiently. An MDL is similar to a class action in that the claims and cases are grouped together, but different because each case stands on its own merits.
