Lebanon Kentucky Car Wreck Injures Two

Kentucky State Police are reporting an injury car accident near Lebanon Kentucky. According to reports, it does not appear that the injuries are serious.

KSP is saying the collision occurred at around 4 p.m. on US 68, approximately three miles west of Lebanon, Kentucky. 19 year old Chelsey Wheatley of Lebanon was reportedly driving a 2006 Mercury east-bound on US 68. At the same time, 25 year old Tyler Royse of Columbia, Kentucky, was driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the opposite direction. Reportedly, Ms. Wheatley lost control of her car and ran off the road before over-correcting and re-entering the roadway, striking the Mr. Royse's Jeep Cherokee in the side.

According to reports, both Ms. Wheatley and Mr. Royse were taken to Springview Hospital in Lebanon, where they were treated and released. 15 year old Stephen Burris of Columbia, was a passenger in the Royse Jeep and was not injured.
