I-65 Wreck In Indiana Leaves One Dead, Four Injured

A wreck on I-65 at the Jackson-Scott County line in Indiana this morning killed one man and injured four others.

Indiana State Police are reporting that 63 year-old Charles E. Hoaglan of North Vernon, Indiana, was driving north on I-65 when he lost control of his Toyota pickup and spun out, crashing into an overpass railing. After Hoaglan's truck came to a stop, a silver Chrysler minivan also lost control on the overpass and struck Hoaglan's truck. Hoaglan got out of his truck and was struck and killed by a Kia Sedona minivan that had just entered the overpass and also lost control.

Hoaglan was pronounced dead at the scene, four other people were injured in the wreck, one of them is reported to be seriously injured. There is no word on the condition of the others at this time.
