Noblesville, Indiana Pedestrian Killed

Police are still investigating the death of 83 year-old Patricia Kneip, who was crossing the street at 9th and Conner Streets in downtown Noblesville, Indiana when she was struck and killed by a pick-up truck.

Kneip was rushed to Riverview Hospital. She was later flown to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, where she died from her injuries.

Vanessa Cantley, partner at Bahe Cook Cantley & Jones PLC, is an Indiana -licensed attorney who has represented the families of many victims of fatal collisions. She states: "What happened to Ms. Kneip is a tragedy. All too often, drivers do not pay attention to pedestrians who have the right-of-way. If it is discovered that the driver of the truck who hit Ms. Kneip was negligent, he must be held accountable to her family for the damages resulting from her death. I hope the family engages an accident reconstruction expert to assist them with their investigation."
