Mother Dies From Car Accident Injuries

Carissa Foushee, age 30, died this week at University of Louisville Hospital from injuries she sustained in a car accident. The accident occurred on Monday morning, around 7:30 a.m., after the road conditions were affected by some light snow and sleet. It was reported that Foushee’s sport utility vehicle crossed the center lines of KY 144, near Payneville, and sustained a head on collision with a truck. The driver of the truck was not injured. Foushee’s two children were killed in the collision and pronounced deceased at the scene.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Foushee family in their time of so much loss and suffering.
