Louisville Kentucky Man, Scott Smith, Killed in Car Wreck
A Louisville man was killed in a car wreck on Monday morning. Scott Smith, 29, died at University Hospital from injuries he received after a pickup struck his vehicle at a south Louisville intersection Monday morning.
Mr. Smith was stopped at the intersection of Manslick and Hazelwood when a GMC Sonoma pickup crossed the median and slammed into his vehicle.
The other driver has been charged with murder, driving under the influence, criminal mischief, wanton endangerment and driving without insurance.
Bahe Cook Cantley & Jones attorney Larry Jones says, "As someone who has represented numerous victims of drunk driving wrecks, I am never more outraged than a crossover wreck. If someone is so impaired that they can't stay on the right side of the road, they should be punished to the maximum extent allowed by the law."
