**Update** Kentucky Product Recall Attorney: One Million Baby Strollers Recalled

There is new information on the Maclaren stroller recall that we've been following here and here. Media reports state that Maclaren knew of the dangerous design defect that could amputate a child's finger for at least five years without doing anything about it, including notifying the Consumer Products Safety Commission, which is required by federal law.
A former CPSC engineer and compliance officer testified in 2007 that Maclaren strollers contain substantial design defects when compared to other strollers. The engineer further stated that the design and manufacture of the stroller, which occurred in China, violated federal regulations intended to prevent this very problem.
Rules are put in place for public safety and to protect the community. The blatant violations here have endangered the most vulnerable members of society. Maclaren may end up having to pay in many different ways.
