Prempro Attorney: Jury Awards $6.3 million in Prempro Case
Yet another jury has found against Pfizer in the Prempro cases. Recently, a jury has awarded $6.3 million in damages to a woman who claimed she developed breast cancer after taking the Pfizer menopause drug Prempro. In the verdict, jurors also found that Pfizer may be liable for punitive damages because it willfully failed to warn patients about risks associated with the drug. The jury will reconvene to consider the amount of punitive damages.
