“The police are claiming that Ms. Walker was driving out of control when her car crossed the center line and head-on into the path of the minor female. It will important to conduct a quick and thorough investigation into the facts and circumstances surrounding this case, locate and speak with any eyewitnesses and secure physical evidence. It is a terrible tragedy that Ms. Walker lost her life in this wreck. However, if it turns out that the wreck was indeed Ms. Walker’s fault and she caused injury to the minor female involved, the minor can pursue a claim for damages against Ms. Walker’s estate. There is much work to be done in a short amount of time. It will be important for the minor’s family to move quickly to ensure that her legal rights are protected.”
