Louisville, Kentucky Police Accident Reports Now Available Online

The Louisville Metro Police Department recently announced that citizens involved in vehicle crashes can now obtain the accident report prepared by the investigating officer online at www.buycrash.com.
Reports will be available 24 to 48 hours after the wreck and cost $10. Previously, reports had to be obtained in person and cost $5. The investigating officer should give those involved in a wreck the information necessary to access the report online at the scene. Reports will still be available to pick up in person at the records division located at 768 Barrett Avenue fro 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
It is vital for an attorney investigating and evaluating a potential case to have the accident report. It contains a wealth of information that can help make or break a case.
