Kentucky Car Wreck: FedEx Truck Kills Three in Northern Kentucky

A FedEx truck killed three people in Boone County Kentucky after crashing into a pickup truck on Tuesday near Verona.

According to initial reports, the pickup was traveling southbound on U.S. 42 when it went out of control and landed sideways in the road, then was hit by the northbound FedEx package delivery truck.

Bahe Cook Cantley & Jones wrongful death attorney Larry Jones says, "This is the ideal scenario where an accident reconstructionist may be necessary to figure out exactly why this crash happened the way it did. Many times people wait too long to get a reconstructionist involved, which can result in the loss of crucial evidence. Big companies like FedEx, or tractor trailer companies, have the resources to send reconstructionists to the scene before the police even clear it. And many times they do exactly that. Hiring a lawyer and an accident reconstructionist immediately allows for an evening of the playing field."
