Cable Barriers To Be Installed Along I-275 In Northern Kentucky

Kentucky highway officials are planning on installing cable barrier systems in the medians of I-275 in northern Kentucky. The decision comes as a result of the number of auto crashes where vehicles cross the median and hit cars in oncoming traffic. The cable barriers save lives in that they prevent vehicles from crossing the medians and running into head on traffic. The project is estimated at 2.8 million dollars and could begin being installed as early as next spring. The areas where the barriers are to be installed have as many as 130,000 vehicles traveling them each day.

Auto accident attorney Brent T. Ackerson believes that these barriers will save lives.
