Crash near Louisville, Kentucky Claims Life
The week for Kentucky roadways got off to a grim start when a Campbellsburg, Kentucky man was killed in an accident on 1-71 in Oldham County. According to media reports, Donald Moore was driving a flatbed wrecker carrying two crushed cars and wrecked when attempting to avoid vehicles stopped for construction. Our sympathies and condolences go out to the friends and family of Mr. Moore, who apparently made the decision to put himself in harm's way rather than others.
Mr. Moore's death unfortunately adds to the increasing number of fatalities on Kentucky roadways. While it appears this was just a single vehicle accident where no other party was at fault, it is important to do an investigation to determine if there were any factors at play that are not readily apparent. A lawyer experienced in handling car and truck wrecks will know what to do to uncover any underlying causes that do not appear on the surface.
