Possible Alchohol-Related Car Wreck In Graves County, Kentucky

A woman was injured by a drunk driver in Graves County, Kentucky on Sunday, according to a report by the Kentucky State Police post in Hickory, Kentucky.

KSP is reporting that Jennifer Trent was driving south on US 45 in the left lane, preparing to make a left turn onto Fowler Road. At the same time, Jerry Harlan was driving behind Ms. Trent in the same direction and failed to notice her car slowing for the turn. Harlan's vehicle struck her from behind.

According to reports, Ms. Trent was transported to Lourdes Hospital by Mayfield-Graves County EMS. Upon further investigation, Mr. Harlan was charged with Driving on a DUI Suspended License and Possession of Open Alcoholic Container and lodged in the Graves County Jail.
