Collision Between Police Officer and Citizen Results in Injury

An early morning collision between a Louisville Metro Police officer and another driver on August 6, 2009 resulted in injuries to both. The collision occured when one of the drivers crossed the center line, entered the other lane of travel and stuck the other vehicle, also known as a cross-over or center-line accident. The injuries appear minor to both.

Louisville, Kentucky car accident attorney Will Nefzger of Bahe Cook Cantley & Nefzger said that the drivers are fortunate. Typically, these types of accidents result in serious injuries and can have tragic consequences. Hopefully, both the officer and the other driver make full recoveries and are back to their normal lives in a short amount of time.
