TWO WESTERN KENTUCKY RESIDENTS INJURED IN JET SKI ACCIDENT OVER THE WEEKEND

WPSD Local 6 is reporting that two individuals were injured in a jet ski accident this past weekend. According to the story, "Investigators say alcohol played a factor in a jet-skiing accident that sent two women to the hospital. The accident happened Sunday afternoon in Carmack Bay, which is on Lake Barkley in Lyon County. Investigators say three women had been riding jet skis, when one of the operators, suspected of drinking made a quick turn.
"There were three jet-skis traveling in the same direction and they tried to pass the leading two jet skis, and when one of the jet skis turned they didn't see the oncoming jet ski and they collided," Daniel Richardson with the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife said. One woman was taken to Western Baptist and a juvenile was taken to Nashville for treatment." http://www.wpsdlocal6.com/news/local/story/Two-Injured-In-Jet-Ski-Accident/oOXY2IG6q0CkblQsjd5s9Q.cspx
