Spencer County, Kentucky Auto Accident

There was a fatal car wreck in Spencer County, Kentucky (near Taylorsville, Kentucky) on Friday. According to Kentucky State Police, it was a crossover accident.

According to reports, Damond E. Board was traveling north bound on KY 55 in Spencer County, Kentucky. For unknown reasons Mr. Board's vehicle crossed the center line colliding head-on into an auto driven by Tammy Boston. Mr. Board was pronounced dead at the scene by the Spencer County Coroner. According to reports, Ms. Boston was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital and three children riding with her were transported to Kosair Hospital. The cause of the accident is still under investigation by KSP.

"Crossover accidents are extremely dangerous and usually do not have happy endings," said Shawn Cantley, a Kentucky car accident attorney. This is a tragedy all around. Hopefully the children and all of the survivors injured in this wreck end up being okay.
