Shawn Cantley, Vanessa Cantley, Larry Jones & Andy Downey Nominated for KJA Board
Four Bahe Cook Cantley & Jones PLC attorneys have been nominated to the Board of Governors for the Kentucky Justice Association (formerly the Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys). Shawn Cantley, Vanessa Cantley, and Larry Jones, three BCCJ partners, currently serve on the Board and have been nominated to serve another term. Another BCCJ attorney, Andy Downey, has been nominated to serve in one of the Young Lawyer positions on the Board. Andy's father, Steve, is a past president of the trial lawyers association.
The members of the Kentucky Justice Association work to make sure any person who is injured by the misconduct and negligence of others can get justice in the courtroom, even when taking on the most powerful interests.
KJA was founded in 1954 by a small group of local attorneys. Over the years, it has grown into an important, statewide voice for consumers. KJA’s more than 1400 members are committed to improving the quality of legal representation for Kentucky families by providing superior legal education and by keeping abreast of legislative and judicial proceedings.
