Kentucky Car Accident: Florence Man Dies in Crossover Wreck

A Florence man died Saturday when he lost control of his car, crossed the center line and crashed head-on in a woman in Verona, Kentucky.
The man died at the scene.

The other driver, Debra Baxter, 47, of Sparta, was flown by medical helicopter to University Hospital.

Her husband, Alan Baxter, 54, was a passenger and taken by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital.

Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Bahe Cook Cantley & Jones car accident attorney Larry Jones says, "This is yet another instance of a crossover wreck that has caused death and serious injuries. Crossover wrecks are so common that I advise my own family to ride in the right hand lane if at all of possible on a four lane road. Unfortunately, crossover wrecks usually lead to serious injuries or death."
